Gaily they crowded and clamored at play until<br />
Those ghoulish figures hearkened.<br />

A false prophet and priest,<br />

It’s true that Xavier fought off sacrilege,<br />
Preached faith to foreign nations.<br />
It’s true that our Savior bought us out of bondage,<br />
Purchased our salvation.<br />

No need to ask when …<br />
God sent His Son then,<br />
And He’ll send Him again,<br />
In the fullness of time.<br />

Now, our prayers have increased,<br />
Prayers to our heavenly Priest<br />
Who’ll come flaming from the East,<br />
Striking down the false priest,<br />
Preparing a holy feast;<br />
