Lyrics

TEN MINUTES TO LONELY

8:59 - I’m still doing fine on my daily walk;

9 o’clock - We begin to talk, and then the fun;

9:01 - What’s done is done between me and you;

9:02 - I’m still talking to you, and I see,

9:03 - You’re showing me to the door.

9:04 - There must be more to being alive.

9:05 - How I used to thrive on your tricks.

9:06 - Now your house of bricks has stories seven;

9:07 - They reach up to Heaven, right to the Gate.

9:08 - This must be my fate, to walk the line,

9:09 - Between yours and mine over and over again.

9:10 - I believe this is when I say my last goodbye.

It was ten minutes to lonely when I talked to you.

I was just ten minutes from lonely when I talked to you.
