Whatever he said,

The promise he made,
He won’t pursue it.
We’ve all been played,

He’s the premier politician,
Blind to the human condition.
He has unbridled ambition,
Waging his war of attrition.
You don’t agree with his views;
Think he might be dangerous.
You must be watching fake news,
Commuting on the short bus.
He said it’s easy to forget
Honor, truth, and humility.
His truly greatest asset
Is his lie ability.
All is revealed in his statement:
“I don’t know about government
For the people or of the people,
But I sure can buy the people!”

They “press” him when he fudges
Daily on the truth – so sad.
Who is gonna man the fort
When the serious siege begins?
Appeal to the Supreme Court,
And he might be out like Flynn.
Rather than try straight shootin’,
He would prefer to enlist
His so-close pal, crass Putin,
That tried-and-true Communist.
