Lyrics

A PERSON OF INTEREST

First thing I noticed were her eyes,
The kind you find only on spies.
Eyes that can see through any lies;
Eyes full of mystery and surprise.
I suppose you can guess the rest:
She’s a person of interest.

Next thing I noticed was her smile,
Designed to bewitch and beguile,
Walk you through hell or down the aisle.
Either way, she’ll do it with style.
I suppose you can guess the rest:
She’s a person of interest.

Last thing I noticed were her curves,
Many more than any man deserves,
A full-blown feast, not just hors d’oeuvres.
Enough to light up all my nerves.
I suppose you can guess the rest:
She’s a person of interest.

I’ll take her down to the station,
Keep her there for observation,
Like a doctor and his patient,
But without those reservations.
I suppose you can guess the rest:
She’s a person of interest.

I’m a man of my convictions
With a very few restrictions.
I don’t condone contradictions,
But I’ll make a bold prediction:
She’ll turn the tables on my quest;
Make me a person of interest.
